What steps will be taken to protect you?

We have decluttered the Clinic and kept working surfaces to a minimum. We have a stringent policy on cleaning (contact us if you would like to know more details). This is to ensure that both the working environment and the way we work minimise the risk of any contamination in the Clinic. We will also be using PPE in the Clinic, (again, contact us if you would like to know more details). We will also ask patients to wear a mask on arrival and have masks available at the Clinic if required. Practitioners will bag their working clothes and work in fresh clothes each day.

Chaperones will be discouraged unless for medical reasons. Should it be necessary, the chaperone will need to fill out the Coronavirus questionnaire before entering the Clinic.

All appointments will be accompanied by a health questionnaire which we would ask you to complete and submit before the appointment time. If your last appointment was over fourteen days ago you will need to complete the questionnaire again. We ask new patients to complete a history/ health questionnaire in addition to the Coronavirus questionnaire.

We are taking these steps to protect you and reduce the time you need to spend in the Clinic.

We know that everyone is aware of the symptoms of Coronavirus, so we would always ask you, if unsure about your health, or of those around you, to seek medical help before coming to the Clinic.

We - as practitioners and staff at CCC -  will be just as vigilant.

With common sense and a degree of care, we are sure that most of you will be able to visit Cornwall Chiropractic Clinic with minimum risk at this challenging time. We are making every effort to help you get the treatment you need, as safely as possible.

To ensure that all patients entering the clinic are kept safe at all times we administer a strict policy on arriving and being treated in the clinic.

The following steps must be followed:

  • Please arrive on time; lateness will impact on other patients.
  • Ring the appropriate door bell, and wait to be let in.
  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided at the front door.
  • If another patient is still being treated you will be asked to wait outside the clinic.
  • Follow any advice that is displayed in the clinic.
  • Try at all times to maintain social distancing.
  • Leave any accessories in the car or at home.
  • No friends or family will be allowed to accompany you unless there is a medical need.
  • Please wear a mask.
  • Once in the treatment room your temperature will be taken.
  • All practitioners will be wearing PPE.
  • Payments and bookings if not already made remotely will be carried out with the receptionist after treatment.

To book an appointment, call the clinic on 01736 759088.

Best wishes from John and the CCC team

Coronavirus Update

Following the lifting of many restrictions designed to prevent the spread of Covid-19, we have decided not to change the policies we have had in place at Cornwall Chiropractic for the time being. This means that we will continue to insist on mask-wearing, social distancing and deep cleaning between appointments. You can find full details below. Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to ensure attending an appointment at our clinic is as safe as possible.
